Letters We Lived Through

Giving voice to the unheard. Sharing stories of survival, pain, and hope.
Letters We Lived Through isn’t just a collection of words; it’s a rebellion against silence. Suicide is too often whispered about in shame, when it should be spoken in truth and compassion.

This is a safe, anonymous space for the stories most people are afraid to tell: the nights you almost didn’t make it, the thoughts you’ve carried in secret, the pain that felt too heavy. Here, your voice matters. Here, your story has power.

Write the letter you wish someone had sent you. Share the words that helped you stay and tell the truth you’ve never spoken out loud.

Every story is proof that talking about suicide doesn’t make it worse; it makes us stronger, and someone out there might survive because you were brave enough to put your pain into words.
Emotional Safety & Resources

Writing about painful moments can be healing, but it can also stir up intense emotions. Only share if you feel emotionally ready right now. Your well-being ALWAYS comes first.

We include some widely known hotlines below, but truthfully, they don’t work for everyone. Use what feels right, and trust your instincts. You can also reach out to someone you know and trust, or a peer-led space where people truly get it.
